1Arrive Hanoi
Meet your guide at the airport and check in, then a half-day city tour: the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, Hanoi Train Street and Hoan Kiem Lake.
2Ha Long Bay day cruise
Drive to Ha Long and board a traditional wooden junk. Seafood lunch on board, Sung Sot Cave, a bamboo boat or kayak at Luon Cave, and time on Ti Top Island.
3Hoa Lu and Trang An
South to Ninh Binh for the Hoa Lu ancient capital, then a sampan ride through the caves and limestone of the UNESCO-listed Trang An complex.
4Hanoi to Danang and Hoi An
Fly to Da Nang, then a basket boat ride at Cam Thanh coconut village before the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An ancient town.
5Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge
Cable car up to Ba Na Hills for the Golden Bridge, the French Village, Le Jardin d'Amour and the Debay wine cellar.
6Danang city tour, on to Saigon
The Marble Mountains, Dragon Bridge, Son Tra peninsula and the Lady Buddha at Linh Ung Pagoda, then the evening flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
7Mekong Delta
A boat trip on the Mekong, coconut candy and rice paper workshops, a sampan ride through the coconut canals, and local music over fresh fruit.
8Saigon city tour and departure
The Central Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica, the Reunification Palace and Ben Thanh Market, then transfer to the airport.
