1Arrive Moscow
Clear immigration, meet the guide and transfer to the hotel. A Russian circus show in the evening, then dinner at an Indian restaurant.
2Moscow to St. Petersburg
The Sapsan high-speed train north, then a panoramic city tour with photo stops at the Bronze Horseman, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Church on Spilled Blood and the cruiser Aurora, plus the Peter and Paul Fortress grounds.
3St. Petersburg: the Hermitage
A guided morning at the State Hermitage, spread across six buildings on the Neva embankment, with works by Leonardo, Raphael, Titian, Van Gogh and Gauguin. Free time in the city afterwards.
4Pushkin and the Catherine Palace
Out to Pushkin for the Catherine Palace and its amber room, then back into the city for free time and shopping.
5St. Petersburg to Moscow
The Sapsan train back to Moscow, then a city tour of Sparrow Hills, the Moscow State University, Victory Park and the Kremlin walls, followed by a tour of the metro's mosaic and chandelier-lit stations.
6Moscow: the Kremlin
A guided Kremlin excursion taking in the grounds and three cathedrals, a walking tour of Red Square and St. Basil's Cathedral from the outside.
7Departure
Breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for the flight to India.
