1Arrive Beijing
Land in Beijing and transfer to the hotel. The evening is given to a Beijing acrobatic show. Dinner included.
2Beijing: Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven
Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in the morning, then the Temple of Heaven and a walk through the traditional hutongs.
3Beijing: the Great Wall
A full day at the Great Wall of China at Juyong Pass, followed by the Summer Palace and Olympic Park.
4Beijing to Zhangjiajie
Fly south to Zhangjiajie and head straight into the National Forest Park for the Yuanjiajie scenic area and Tianzi Mountain.
5Zhangjiajie: Tianmen Mountain
Tianmen Mountain and its glass skywalk, then the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and a walk across the glass bridge.
6Zhangjiajie to Guilin
Bullet train to Guilin, arriving for the Reed Flute Caves and their lit limestone chambers.
7Guilin: Li River cruise
An hour-long cruise on the Li River through the karst peaks, then a tour of Yangshuo town.
8Guilin to Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai. Entry to the Shanghai Tower and an evening cruise along the Bund.
9Shanghai
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the classical Yu Garden, and the Jade Buddha Temple.
10Departure
Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the airport for the flight home.
